The vision for North Halifax Community Academy is for it to be an outstanding school which develops and realises the academic and personal potential of all of its students. It will demand high standards of conduct from both its staff and its students.
It will deliver a traditional curriculum that will allow its students to compete for places in the best Sixth Forms and colleges or for the best jobs and training schemes when they leave. It will allow its students to have control over their own futures and will equip them with the skills and attributes that they will need to be successful citizens in their communities.
It will share many of the features that have made The North Halifax Grammar School consistently outstanding since its creation in 1987 and will build on the excellent foundations laid for many young people in north Halifax’s primary schools.
